Kristine Amerson

Kristine Amerson is a wife of 47 years joyfully married to her college sweetheart Steve; who is a minister with a heart for people as he serves the Lord through music and prayer.  They have two married children and six grand children.

As a Spiritual Director, Kristine is honored to enter sacred spaces with clients as they awaken to God’s presence and movement in their everyday lives. She is most fully alive when using her gifts for God’s glory. Since spiritual direction is an on-going intentional conversation empowering the directee to more fully live out God's purpose in their life, she enjoys partnering with others on this journey.

One of the wonderful parts of maturing is the lens it provides for genuine transformation. Over recent years Kristine has become more deeply aligned with her true calling: sitting with others and creating a sacred space where one can hear from God. Within this sacred relationship the directee has the opportunity to explore their God given unique gifts becoming more formed in God's image and more aligned to God's purpose for them.

 

Kristine serves as a Spiritual Director, works as a docent at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and is developing her skills as an iconographer.  In John Chapter 7, Jesus describes a river flowing from the heart of one whose thirst is quenched in Him.  Each of these avenues of service represents a stream of God's grace flowing through Kristine's life.

Leisure activities include hiking, exploring new places, singing, travel and art.  An extravert, Kristine also loves meeting people and finds inspiration at the ocean, in the mountains, reading and playing with children.
